Consultant General Surgeon – Robotic Surgery 

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Consultant General Surgeon with expertise in Robotic Surgery to join a leading private hospital in Galway, Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialist assessment, diagnosis and surgical management of patients requiring general surgical procedures.

• Perform minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgical procedures.

• Deliver high-quality patient care through outpatient consultations, surgical interventions and postoperative management.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent clinical outcomes and patient safety.

• Contribute to the development and advancement of robotic surgical services.

Requirements:

• Specialist Registration in General Surgery with the Irish Medical Council (IMC), or eligibility for same.

• Proven experience and training in robotic-assisted surgery.

• Extensive experience in general and minimally invasive surgical procedures.

• Excellent clinical, communication and interpersonal skills.
