Staff Grade Social Worker – North Mayo Network

TTM Healthcare Solutions is currently seeking a Staff Grade Social Worker to join the North Mayo Network on a temporary monthly contract, with an immediate start preferred.

Job Details

• Position: Staff Grade Social Worker

• Location: North Mayo Network

• Base: To be confirmed between Ballina and Swinford

• Hours: 35 hours per week

• Contract: Monthly contract, with ongoing requirements to be reviewed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional social work services to individuals, families and communities within the North Mayo Network.

• Complete comprehensive assessments of service users’ needs and develop appropriate care and support plans.

• Provide advice, guidance and practical support to service users and their families.

• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and other relevant agencies to ensure coordinated service delivery.

• Maintain accurate and confidential case records, reports and documentation.

• Advocate for service users and promote their rights, dignity, independence and overall well-being.

• Identify safeguarding concerns and follow relevant policies, procedures and statutory requirements.

• Participate in team meetings, case reviews and other service-related activities.

Essential Requirements

• A recognised Social Work qualification.

• CORU mandatory

• Relevant experience in social work practice.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• Strong assessment, report-writing and case-management skills.

• A commitment to professional standards, confidentiality and safeguarding.
