Pharmacy Technician | Fixed-Term Contract

Location: Dublin
Contract: Fixed-term

We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join a busy hospital pharmacy team on a fixed-term basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispensing and supply of medicines and pharmaceutical products
• Stock management, ordering, charging and returns
• Operating and maintaining automated dispensing systems
• Extemporaneous dispensing and compounding
• Supporting aseptic services, including preparation of chemotherapy products following appropriate training
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Supporting pharmacy audits, quality initiatives and medication safety
• Working collaboratively with pharmacists, technicians and wider healthcare teams
• Participating in training and ongoing professional development

Requirements:

• Pharmaceutical Technician Diploma – essential
• Pharmacy technician experience, ideally within a hospital setting
• Compounding experience desirable
• Experience with pharmacy automation desirable
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Good IT skills and a commitment to high-quality patient care
