Senior Occupational Therapist

Location: Mountbellew Primary Care Centre, East Galway & South Roscommon Network
Hours: 24 hours per week
Contract: Agency / Temporary
Start Date: Immediate

TTM Healthcare Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join the East Galway & South Roscommon Primary Care Network, based at Mountbellew Primary Care Centre.

The successful candidate will provide Occupational Therapy services to an adult caseload within Primary Care.
Clinical Governance is provided by the Occupational Therapy Manager.
Operational Line Management is provided by the Community Healthcare Network Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Post Holder will be working with a multidisciplinary team as part of the Mountbellow Primary Care Team.
• Postholder to provide a Primary Care OT service to adults in living in Mountbellow.
• Provide appropriate advice regarding equipment, adaptations and rehabilitation.
• Work collaboratively with service users, families, carers and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation in line with professional and service standards.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to effective care planning.

Requirements

• Recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy.
• CORU registration mandatory.
• Previous experience working in Primary Care or community-based services is highly desirable.
• Experience working with an adult caseload.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Access to own transport is essential for this role.
