Pay Rate

• Monday to Saturday (Day): €18.01 per hour
• Monday to Saturday (Night): €22.51 per hour

Requirements

• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support or an equivalent qualification
• Previous Healthcare Assistant experience desirable
• Up-to-date vaccinations including Hepatitis B, MMR, Tuberculosis and Varicella
• Resident in Ireland with permission to work
• Willingness to undergo Garda Vetting
• International Police Clearance (if you have lived outside Ireland for more than 6 months after the age of 16)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care and support to service users
• Assist with personal care and activities of daily living
• Promote dignity, independence and choice at all times
• Observe and report any changes in service users' conditions
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Follow infection prevention and control procedures
• Work collaboratively with nurses and other healthcare professionals
• Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures and safeguarding standards
