Location: Dublin 15
Position: Grade III Clerical Officer
Hours: Full time, MonFri, 95 (35 hours a week)
Pay: 17.49- 27.06 per hour depending on previous relevant public sector experience
Contract: Initial 3 month contract with possibility of extension
Role Purpose
The Clerical Officer Grade III will provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support within a busy public sector team. The role will involve managing documentation, maintaining accurate records and trackers, supporting internal processes and liaising with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the wider team and management.
- Prepare, organise and maintain documentation, correspondence and records.
- Maintain and update databases, electronic records and Excel trackers.
- Track outstanding documentation, actions and deadlines, following up where required.
- Draft and issue professional emails, letters and general correspondence.
- Maintain accurate electronic and paper-based filing systems.
- Organise meetings, prepare documentation and record and follow up on actions.
- Respond professionally to telephone and email enquiries and direct queries appropriately.
- Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders as required.
- Assist with the preparation of reports, statistics and other administrative information.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately and in line with GDPR requirements.
- Support the continuous improvement of administrative processes and procedures.
