TTM Healthcare are proud to partner with our client in the public sector to recruit for a temporary Grade III Clerical Officer in Dublin 15

Location: Dublin 15 
Position: Grade III Clerical Officer
Hours: Full time, Mon–Fri, 9–5 (35 hours a week)
Pay: €17.49- €27.06 per hour depending on previous relevant public sector experience
Contract: Initial 3 month contract with possibility of extension

Role Purpose

The Clerical Officer Grade III will provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support within a busy public sector team. The role will involve managing documentation, maintaining accurate records and trackers, supporting internal processes and liaising with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the wider team and management.
  • Prepare, organise and maintain documentation, correspondence and records.
  • Maintain and update databases, electronic records and Excel trackers.
  • Track outstanding documentation, actions and deadlines, following up where required.
  • Draft and issue professional emails, letters and general correspondence.
  • Maintain accurate electronic and paper-based filing systems.
  • Organise meetings, prepare documentation and record and follow up on actions.
  • Respond professionally to telephone and email enquiries and direct queries appropriately.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders as required.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports, statistics and other administrative information.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately and in line with GDPR requirements.
  • Support the continuous improvement of administrative processes and procedures.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience maintaining databases, records and trackers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a busy team.
  • High level of confidentiality and discretion.
