Healthcare Assistant – Limerick

Requirements:

• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support or equivalent
• Previous experience working with children, particularly those with physical disabilities
• Experience with personal care and manual handling/lifting
• Full driver’s licence
• Right to work in Ireland (EU passport or Stamp 1G, 2, 4, 4D, 5, 4 EUFam)
• International Police Clearance (if applicable)
• Willingness to undergo Garda Vetting

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care to a child with physical disabilities in their own home
• Assist with daily living activities, personal care, and mobility support
• Promote dignity, independence, and inclusion in a residential environment
• Follow individual care plans and service guidelines
• Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with the team
