Contract: Full-time, Permanent

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing to lead the delivery of high-quality nursing and social care, ensuring the individual needs and wellbeing of every resident are at the heart of care.

The successful candidate will provide strong clinical and operational leadership, ensuring compliance with HIQA standards, legislation, company policies and best practice, while overseeing quality assurance, audits, training and staff development. The role also includes responsibility for effective management of the home’s environment, health and safety, financial and administrative procedures, complaints, and human resources.

We are looking for a dynamic leader who can foster a positive team culture, build strong relationships with residents, families and community partners, and drive continuous improvement across the home.

Requirements:

• Qualified RGN with at least 3 years’ experience in the last 6 years in care of the elderly.
• Management qualification in health or a related field.
• No less than 3 years’ experience in a management capacity in the health and social care area.
• Registered on the NMBI live register.
• Proven track record in healthcare clinical management.
• Excellent Leadership, Organisational and Communication skills.
• Sound decision making ability and results driven.
• Good knowledge and awareness of finance issues.
