TTM Healthcare are delighted to partner with our client in the Public Sector to recruit a Grade IV Clerical Officer to join their team in Tralee, Co. Kerry.
Job Details
- Location: Tralee, Co. Kerry
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am 5:00pm
- Contract: Month-to-month rolling contract
- Pay: 19.97 30.67 per hour (depending on relevant public sector experience)
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the department and assist with the efficient day-to-day running of office functions.
Duties will include:
- Providing comprehensive administrative support within a busy office environment.
- Processing and maintaining applications and documentation relating to financial supports for families.
- Managing confidential records and ensuring all documentation is processed accurately and securely.
- Preparing correspondence, reports and other administrative documentation.
- Providing front-of-house reception cover and operating a busy switchboard, responding to telephone and email enquiries professionally.
- Managing diaries, appointments and general office administration.
- Maintaining accurate electronic and paper filing systems.
- Using the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook, to manage data and produce reports.
- Assisting with the implementation and maintenance of administrative procedures.
- Supporting colleagues and providing administrative cover as required.
- Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with professionalism.
- Working effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team while managing your own workload.
Essential Requirements
- Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Excellent IT skills with experience using databases and administrative systems.
- Experience providing reception and switchboard support.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and deal with sensitive information appropriately.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- A flexible and professional approach in a fast-paced environment.
