Salary: €64551- €76007

TTM Healthcare Solutions are delighted to be recruiting for a Senior Speech and Language Therapist in Stroke & Older Persons for a leading HSE hospital based in West Dublin.

This is a Full Time Permanent HSE contract. (Part Time may be considered)

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) to work across two services within the Stroke and Age-Related Health Care Departments at the hospital, delivering high-quality rehabilitation and contributing to the ongoing development of Speech and Language Therapy services.

The Senior SLT will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive Speech and Language Therapy service to patients transferred to the subacute rehabilitation unit in Clondalkin. The successful candidate will provide assessment, intervention and rehabilitation for patients presenting with communication and swallowing disorders, supporting them to achieve optimal functional outcomes.

The Senior SLT will also contribute to the Stroke Early Supported Discharge (ESD) Service to deliver acute assessment and rehabilitation for patients with communication and swallowing disorders following stroke.

Key Requirements:

CORU registration
3 years experience
Valid visa or right to work in Ireland
Demonstrate evidence of satisfactory recent proven working experience in the area of Stroke and in care of the Older Person.
Demonstrate evidence of satisfactory proven working experience in adult rehabilitation.
Demonstrate evidence of full and independent competence in the management of adult eating, drinking and swallowing disorders.
