Requirements

• CORU registration as a Social Care Worker
• Minimum Level 7 or Level 8 degree in Social Care or equivalent
• Garda Vetting – Required
• Driver’s Licence – Required
• Right to work in Ireland (EU passport or Stamp 1G, 2, 4, 4D, 5, 4 EUFam)
• International Police Clearance (if applicable)
• Willingness to undergo verification of qualifications directly with the issuing college/university

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care within a residential children’s service
• Assist in the implementation of individual care plans and safeguarding practices
• Promote independence, personal development, and community participation
• Support children in daily routines, education, and recreational activities
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with HIQA regulations
