TTM Healthcare are proud to partner with our client in the Public Sector to recruit a Grade IV Clerical Officer to join their team in Mallow, Co. Cork.
Job Type: Full-Time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Pay Scale: €19.97 - €30.67 per hour, depending on previous relevant public sector experience.
Location: Mallow, Co. Cork
Contract: 6 Month Initial Contract (with possibility of extension)
Availability: Immediate start required. Candidates must be available immediately or have a maximum notice period of 2 weeks.
Key Responsibilities
The Grade IV Clerical Officer will provide administrative support to the department and assist with the efficient day-to-day running of administrative functions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing general administrative support to the department.
- Uploading referrals and maintaining accurate records.
- Managing and maintaining documentation in an organised and secure manner.
- Managing a complaints handling inbox and ensuring queries are processed appropriately.
- Using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, to manage data and complete administrative tasks.
- Supporting the preparation of correspondence, reports and other office documentation.
- Providing reception cover when required.
- Assisting with the implementation and maintenance of administrative procedures and processes.
- Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information appropriately.
- Supporting colleagues and providing administrative cover as required.
- Working collaboratively as part of a team while maintaining a professional and respectful working environment.
- Minute taking experience.
Essential Criteria
- Previous administrative experience within a busy office environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong IT skills and experience working with administrative systems and databases.
