TTM Healthcare Solutions is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Staff Grade Dietitian to join a multidisciplinary healthcare team in North Mayo. This is an excellent opportunity for a dietitian looking to gain valuable experience within community-based services while making a meaningful impact on patient care and health outcomes.
The successful candidate will work across services in the North Mayo region, supporting individuals with a range of nutritional needs and contributing to the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based dietetic care.
Key Responsibilities
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nutritional care for patients referred to the dietetic service.
Provide individualised dietary advice and interventions based on clinical assessment and evidence-based practice.
Manage a varied caseload, prioritising referrals according to clinical need.
Deliver nutritional education and health promotion initiatives to individuals, families, carers, and community groups.
Work collaboratively with members of the multidisciplinary team (MDT), including medical, nursing, allied health, and primary care professionals.
Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation in line with professional and organisational standards.
Monitor patient progress and adapt care plans as required to achieve optimal outcomes.
Contribute to quality improvement projects, audits, and service evaluation activities.
Adhere to all professional, ethical, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
A recognised qualification in Dietetics.
CORU mandatory
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
Full driver's licence and access to own transport, as travel across the service area may be required.
Previous experience working within community, primary care, or acute healthcare settings.
Experience managing a broad range of clinical nutrition presentations.
Knowledge of Irish healthcare services and pathways.
