TTM Healthcare are proud to partner with our client in the Public Sector to recruit a Grade IV Clerical Officer to join their team in Meath.

Job Type: Full-Time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Location: Meath
Contract: 3 Month Initial Contract 

Pay Scale: €19.97 - €30.67 per hour, depending on previous relevant public sector experience.

Key Responsibilities

The Grade IV Clerical Officer will provide administrative support to the department and ensure the efficient day-to-day running of administrative functions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the efficient day-to-day administration of the department.
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential records in line with organisational policies and GDPR requirements.
  • Managing and maintaining documentation in an orderly and secure manner.
  • Meeting weekly deadlines for time and attendance administration and data entry.
  • Preparing correspondence, reports and other office documentation to a high standard.
  • Using Microsoft Office applications and Excel to manage data and produce reports.
  • Supporting effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assisting with the implementation and maintenance of administrative procedures and processes.
  • Providing cross-cover support for other administrative team members when required.
  • Maintaining knowledge of relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
  • Participating in training and continuous professional development activities.
  • Working collaboratively as part of a team while promoting a respectful and professional working environment.
  • Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety policies and organisational standards.

Essential Criteria

  • Minimum of two years' administrative experience within a busy office environment.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel (including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs).
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong IT skills and experience working with administrative systems and databases.
