Residential Social Care Worker – Sligo
TTM Healthcare Solutions are partnering with a leading service provider to recruit a Social Care Worker for a mainstream residential service located just outside Sligo town.
Location: Just outside Sligo Town
Service Overview:
- 3-bed mainstream residential service
- Supporting young people aged 13–17 years
- Provides a safe, structured, and nurturing environment
- Operates on a 24/7 basis, all year round
Working Hours:
- 12-hour day shifts within a rotational rota
- Includes weekends and public holidays
- Night cover includes:
- Waking night shifts (2 staff on duty overnight)

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality care within a residential setting for young people
- Promote a safe, supportive, and structured living environment
- Build positive relationships that encourage trust and emotional wellbeing
- Support young people with daily routines and independent living skills
- Provide supervision and care during both day and night shifts
- Work closely with families, social workers, and multidisciplinary teams
- Contribute to and implement individual care plans
- Maintain clear, accurate records and incident reports
Requirements
- Level 7 or Level 8 qualification in Social Care or a related discipline
- CORU registration (or in the process of registering)
- Experience working with young people is an advantage
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work across a 24/7 rota, including waking nights and sleepovers
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must:
- Have the legal right to work in Ireland (EU passport or valid GNIB/IRP stamp)
- Be willing to complete Garda Vetting
- Provide International Police Clearance if applicable
