Social Care Worker Specialist – Ballyneety, Co. Limerick

TTM Healthcare Solutions are excited to partner with a leading care provider to recruit a dedicated Residential Care Specialist for a specialist youth service located in Ballyneety.

Location: Ballyneety, Co. Limerick

Service Overview:

• Specialist residential service for 4 young people
• Supporting individuals aged 12–17 years
• Focused on young people presenting with risk-taking behaviours
• Provides a highly structured, therapeutic environment with a strong emphasis on safety and positive outcomes

Shift Details:

• 12-hour shifts
• Rotational schedule including evenings, weekends, and public holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care in a specialist residential setting
• Support young people in managing challenging and risk-related behaviours
• Build trusting, professional relationships that promote stability and growth
• Implement structured routines and individualised care plans
• Encourage emotional regulation, resilience, and positive decision-making
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies
• Promote a safe and supportive living environment at all times
• Maintain accurate documentation and incident reporting

Candidate Requirements

• Level 7 or Level 8 qualification in Social Care or a relevant field
• CORU registration (or working towards registration)
• Experience working with young people with complex needs or behaviours is highly desirable
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
• Flexibility to work across a 24/7 rota

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must:

• Have the legal right to work in Ireland (EU passport or valid GNIB/IRP stamp)
• Be willing to undergo Garda Vetting
• Provide International Police Clearance where applicable
