Location:Claregalway, Co. Galway
Service Overview:
- Dual occupancy residential service
- Supporting 2 young people aged 10–17 years
- Focused on providing a safe, structured, and nurturing environment
Working Hours:
- 12-hour day shifts
- Set on a rotational roster, including weekends and public holidays

Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide consistent care and support to young people in a residential setting
- Encourage positive behaviour, personal growth, and independence
- Build meaningful relationships that promote trust and emotional wellbeing
- Support daily routines, education, and development of life skills
- Work collaboratively with families, social workers, and external agencies
- Assist in implementing care plans and behavioural management strategies
- Ensure the environment remains safe, structured, and supportive
- Accurately document daily activities, progress, and any incidents
Essential Requirements
- Level 7 or Level 8 qualification in Social Care (or equivalent)
- CORU registration or eligibility to register
- Previous experience working with children or young people is an advantage
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexibility to work a rotating shift pattern
