This role involves providing waking night cover in a residential house in Mansfield Grove. Role Details:

Location: Mansfield Grove, Athy, Co. Kildare
Shift times: 20:00 to 08:00
Schedule: 7 nights per week (ongoing, long-term requirement)
Start date: ASAP
No driving required
SAM and MAPA training desirable but not required
Walking distance from Athy railway station (applicants should consider train schedules)

Requirements:

QQI Level 5 Qualification in Healthcare Support or equivalent
All vaccinations: Hepatitis B, MMR, Tuberculosis and Varicella
Resident in Ireland and hold one of the following: EU passport or valid GNIB permission (Stamp 1G, 2, 4, 4D, 5, or 4 EUFam)
Willing to undergo Garda Vetting
International Police Clearance if you have lived outside Ireland for more than 6 months after the age of 16

Responsibilities:

Provide personal care to service users, including feeding, washing, and dressing
Monitor and support individuals throughout the night
Report any notable activities or incidents to the person in charge
Provide emotional support and reassurance
Assist with maintaining a safe and comfortable environment
