Senior Paediatric Physiotherapist

TTM Healthcare is currently recruiting a Senior Paediatric Physiotherapist for a clinic-based Primary Care role based in Trim Primary Care Centre. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced clinician with strong expertise in paediatric primary care.

Primary Care – Clinic Based
Location: Trim Primary Care Centre, Longwood Road, Trim
Contract Duration: 3 Months
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm

Purpose of the Role

The post holder will provide Senior Physiotherapy services within a Primary Care Paediatric setting, delivering evidence‑based assessment and intervention to children attending the service. The role is clinic based and requires a high level of specialist knowledge in Primary Care Paediatric Physiotherapy.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of children referred to Primary Care Paediatric Physiotherapy services
  • Manage and prioritise a specialist paediatric caseload in accordance with service policies and clinical priorities
  • Develop, implement, and regularly review individualised treatment programmes in collaboration with children and their families
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and high‑quality clinical documentation and reports in line with HSE standards
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team working within Primary Care settings
  • Ensure clinical practice complies with professional standards, HSE policies, and relevant legislation
  • Contribute to service delivery, quality improvement, and audit processes as required

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must, on the latest date for receipt of applications:

  • Hold a Bachelor of Science (BSc) or equivalent qualification in Physiotherapy
  • Be registered on the Physiotherapists Register maintained by CORU
  • Have a minimum of 3 years’ post‑qualification experience in Paediatric Physiotherapy
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge and experience of Primary Care Paediatric Physiotherapy
  • Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously within a senior clinical role
  • Possess strong communication, organisational, and clinical reasoning skills
