Location: Castlebar
Position: Grade III Clerical Officer
Hours: Full time 35 hours per week
Pay: €17.31 - €26.79 depending on previous relevant verified public sector experience
Contract: Month to Month Rolling contract
Job Purpose:
To provide flexible administrative support across departments, ensuring efficient daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general admin tasks (data entry, filing, document management)
- Handle calls, emails, and enquiries professionally
- Maintain accurate records and databases
- Prepare basic documents and correspondence
- Manage diaries, meetings, and appointments as required
- Sort and distribute post
- Support multiple departments and adapt to changing priorities
- Order and monitor office supplies
- Maintain confidentiality at all times
Essential Criteria:
- Experience in an administrative or clerical role within a healthcare setting is essential.
- Minute taking at meetings is required.
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office or similar systems
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Flexible and adaptable across different tasks and departments
- Professional and reliable approach
