Requirements

• Minimum Level 7 or Level 8 Degree in Social Care (or equivalent)
• CORU Registration (or eligibility for registration)
• Previous experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism, or in a social care setting is desirable
• Resident in Ireland and hold one of the following: EU Passport, Stamp 1G, Stamp 2, Stamp 4, Stamp 4D, Stamp 5, or EUFam Stamp 4
• Willingness to undergo Garda Vetting
• International Police Clearance required if you have lived outside Ireland for more than six months after the age of 16
• Full clean driving licence and access to own transport
• SAM (Safe Administration of Medication) and Buccal Medication training

Role Responsibilities

• Support service users in accordance with their individual care and support plans
• Promote independence, social inclusion, and community participation
• Assist individuals in developing life skills and achieving personal goals
• Build positive relationships and maintain a safe, person-centred environment
• Complete accurate records and contribute effectively to multidisciplinary teams
• Adhere to organisational policies, national standards, and HIQA guidelines
• Advocate for the rights, dignity, and wellbeing of all service users
