Location: Cork Hours: 9am to 5pm - 35 hours full time hours Duration: Temporary 3 month initial contract Pay scale: €17.31p/h - €26.79p/h (depending on previous relevant public sector experience)
Key Responsibilities
Provide a professional and welcoming reception service.
Act as first point of contact for service users, visitors, and staff, in person and by phone.
Manage enquiries sensitively and direct them to the appropriate staff member.
Carry out administrative duties including typing, scanning, filing, copying, and record maintenance.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information in line with GDPR and departmental procedures.
Support with administrative staff with ad hoc duties as required.
Essential Criteria
Experience in reception or administrative duties in a busy office environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and empathetic approach.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
Comfortable with IT and system including typing and document management.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
