Job Description
Healthcare Assistant opportunities are available through TTM Healthcare Solutions (TTM) for agency cover within a HSE hospital in Co. Waterford. This is a flexible agency role offering day and night shifts, ideal for Healthcare Assistants looking for control over their schedule while gaining valuable hospital experience in a supportive clinical environment. Requirements
- QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 months’ experience working as a Healthcare Assistant
- Vaccinations: Hepatitis B, MMR, Tuberculosis, Varicella
- Resident in Ireland with valid work permission (EU passport or GNIB Stamp 1G, 2, 4, 4D, 5, or 4 EUFam)
- Willingness to undergo Garda Vetting
- International Police Clearance if lived outside Ireland for more than 6 months after age 16
Responsibilities
- Supporting patients with personal care needs in a hospital setting
- Assisting nursing staff with day-to-day patient care activities
- Promoting dignity, comfort, and wellbeing at all times
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and supportive care environment
- Adhering to HSE policies and infection control standards
