Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Temporary Occupational Therapist to join our Louth Meath Mental Health Service team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive occupational therapy services aimed at enhancing the mental health and well-being of our clients. This role requires a proactive professional with a passion for mental health and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct assessments to understand clients' needs, capabilities, and goals.- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote mental health recovery.- Facilitate therapeutic activities and interventions tailored to client needs.- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care.- Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.- Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding mental health strategies.- Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.- Registered with CORU or eligibility for registration.- Experience in a mental health setting is preferred.
