Job Description:

Mullingar Regional Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled Temporary Physiotherapist (Staff Grade) to join our dynamic healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy services to patients, promoting recovery, and enhancing physical health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments for patients with diverse conditions.- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated patient care.- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and lifestyle modifications.- Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation.- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to continuous service improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent.- Registration with CORU- Proven experience in a clinical physiotherapy setting.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.- Proficiency in developing and implementing evidence-based treatment plans.- Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
