TTM Healthcare are proud to partner with our client in the public sector to recruit for a temporary Grade III Clerical Officer in Donegal.
Location: Carndonagh
Position: Grade III Clerical Officer
Hours: Full time, 9-5, 35 hours per week
Pay: €17.04-€26.52 depending on previous relevant public sector experience
Contract: Month to month temporary contract
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support in the department.
- Manage reception duties, including handling phone calls, greeting patients, and managing appointments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, both computerised and paper filing systems.
- Maintain and update relevant databases and information systems, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality and compliance with data protection requirements.
- Coordinate, schedule or support meetings, appointments or departmental events as required.
- Perform general clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in using office software (MS Office, email, etc.).
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Knowledge of hospital or clinical operations is an advantage.
