Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Temporary Social Worker to join our team at South Limerick Primary Care Centre. The successful candidate will provide essential social work services to individuals and families, ensuring comprehensive support and care within the community. This role involves working collaboratively with healthcare professionals and external agencies to enhance the well-being of our clients.

• Assess clients' needs and develop appropriate care plans.
• Provide counseling and emotional support to individuals and families.
• Advocate on behalf of clients to access resources and services.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams and external organizations.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
• Conduct home visits and community outreach as necessary.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work.
• Registered with the relevant professional social work body.
• Must be a resident in Ireland and hold one of the following: EU passport or GNIB card with Stamp 1G, Stamp 2, Stamp 4, Stamp 4D, Stamp 5, or 4 EUFam.
• Willing to undergo Garda Vetting. 
• International Police Clearance required (if lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 months after the age of 16).
