Role Overview

Our Lady’s Hospital, Navan is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Dietitian to provide temporary coverage in our acute dietetic services. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating dietary and nutritional problems in patients within an acute care setting.

Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for patients in acute care.- Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans.- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.- Provide expert guidance and education to patients and healthcare staff.- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary.- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records.- Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Dietetics or Nutrition.- Registered Dietitian with current registration with the relevant professional body, CORU- Proven experience in acute dietetic services.

Duration: 6 weeks initial contract, rolling thereafter
