Job Description

This role is an exciting opportunity for newly qualified or experienced Pharmacist to join a small dynamic team in North Dublin. The successful candidate will have responsibility for assisting in the management of pharmacy services within the hospital, for providing a safe efficient drug distribution service and for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the dispensary and maintaining a clinical pharmacy service in St Vincent’s Hospital Fairview.

The successful candidate will;

Work with the pharmacy team to ensure pharmacy services to all areas of St Vincent’s Hospital are delivered to patients consistent with the mission and ethos of the Pharmacy Department and the Hospital.

To take responsibility for the Pharmacy in the absence of the Pharmacist, Chief II.

Candidates must demonstrate in their application that they meet the following essential criteria:

Be a registered Pharmacist with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI) or be entitled to be so registered and,Possess the requisite knowledge and ability (Including a high standard of suitability and management ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
