Location: Loughrea Primary Care Centre
Contract duration: 3-month initial contract, rolling contract thereafter

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Loughrea Primary Care Centre on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will have experience working with adults and possess a strong ability to assess, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions that enhance the daily living and occupational skills of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ occupational performance.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve clients' functional abilities.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to support clients in achieving their personal and occupational goals.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care.
• Document and maintain accurate client records in compliance with professional and regulatory standards.
• Educate clients and their families on therapeutic techniques and adaptive strategies.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current registration with the relevant professional body, CORU
• Proven experience working with adult clients in a clinical setting.
• Permission to work in Ireland and hold the following: EU passport or GNIB card with Stamp 1G, Stamp 2, Stamp 4, Stamp 4D, Stamp 5, or 4 EUFam.
• Willing to undergo Garda Vetting. 
• International Police Clearance required (if lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 months after the age of 16).
