Job Title: Business Manager, GVIII
Full time- 35hrs per week
Location- Dublin 6
Pay scale- From €82,258 to €99,213 depending on previous relevant public sector experience.
Temporary 6-month contract initially  

Reporting to: General Manager

Purpose:
The Business Manager supports the General Manager/Network Director in ensuring the efficient operation of the service, with primary responsibility for overseeing business, clinical, and general services. This role serves as the executive lead for Allied Health Professional (AHP) Services, ensuring performance targets are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations of Health & Social Care Professional Services, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
• Develop and implement the five-year operational plan and annual service plan for the Network.
• Lead on performance management, continuous quality improvement, and KPI achievement.
• Collaborate with department heads, Consultants, and external stakeholders to drive service developments and operational excellence.
• Oversee budget management, cost-efficiency initiatives, and financial planning for assigned areas.
• Act as the Network’s spokesperson and lead communication strategies with internal and external stakeholders.
• Deputize for the General Manager when required.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Senior-level operational experience in healthcare, with expertise in service/business planning and change management.
• Strong knowledge of hospital clinical and business processes, performance systems, and relevant legislation.
• Proven leadership, teamwork, and communication skills, with a focus on delivering results in a complex environment.
