Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Locum Surgical Registrar to join our surgical team in Wexford. The successful candidate will provide high-quality surgical care and support the surgical department's operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients requiring surgical intervention.
- Participate in surgical procedures under the supervision of consultant surgeons.
- Perform pre-operative and post-operative care and management.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in on-call duties as required.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

- Medical degree with full registration with the Irish Medical Council.
- Proven experience in a surgical registrar role.- Strong clinical and surgical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in general surgery or a specific surgical specialty.
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification.
- Familiarity with electronic health records and hospital management systems.
