Location: Kells Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT)
Job Summary:The Temporary Senior Speech and Language Therapist will provide expert assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for children with communication and swallowing disorders within the Kells CDNT. The role involves working collaboratively with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care and support.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough assessments of children's speech, language, and communication abilities.- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.- Monitor and evaluate progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and educators within the CDNT.- Provide training and support to junior therapists and staff.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports.- Engage in continuous professional development and staying updated with best practices.
Skills and Qualifications:- Degree in Speech and Language Therapy and relevant professional registration.- Experience in pediatric speech and language therapy.
