TTM Healthcare are proud to partner with our client in the public sector in
Limerick to recruit a temporary
Grade III Clerical Officer.
Location: Raheen
Hours: 35 hours full time hours (9-5)
Duration: Temporary 3 month initial contract
Pay scale: €17.04- €26.52 (depending on previous relevant public sector experience)
Key Responsibilities:
Create purchase orders in SAP and IFMS, making sure they meet specifications, budgets, and national financial rules.
Communicate with warehouse staff, hospital users, and suppliers to reduce errors and ensure accurate order processing.
Check and process supplier invoices, matching them with orders and deliveries before passing them on for approval.
Reconcile supplier statements and support month-end closing to keep financial records accurate and up to date.
Deal with supplier queries quickly to maintain good relationships and avoid supply issues.
Provide office support by handling phone calls, emails, and correspondence, and covering for colleagues during leave.
Complete required online and on-site HSE training.
Stay flexible and open to changes in work practices as needed.
Essential Skills & Competencies:
- Strong working knowledge of SAP ERP systems and/or IFMS SAP
- Understanding of public sector procurement and National Financial Regulations
- Proficient in reviewing and matching purchase orders, invoices, and receipts
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reconciliation
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) for effective internal and external liaison
- Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
- High level of numeracy and understanding of accounts payable processes
- Professional and proactive approach to supplier relationship management
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible and adaptable to change
