TTM Healthcare are proud to partner with our client in the Public Sector to recruit a temporary Grade IV Assistant Staff Officer in Cork.
Location: Cork
Hours: 9am to 5pm, 35hour working week
Contract: Temporary 3-month initial contract
Pay-rate: €19.50 – €30.07 per hour depending on previous relative public sector experience
Available for an immediate start
Key Responsibilities:
-Interpret HR and workforce data to identify trends, generate insights and support evidence-based decision-making.
-Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and presentations using relevant tools.
-Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and workforce metrics.
-Provide accurate, timely data reporting to support internal and external stakeholders.
-Manage and update team SharePoint sites to ensure accuracy and relevance of content.
-Support document management, version control, and access permissions.
-Assist with development and maintenance of workflows, forms, and collaboration tools on SharePoint.
-Use and support digital tools and platforms such as Microsoft Forms, Excel (including advanced functions like pivot tables, formulas, and data validation), and other HR-related software.
-Identify opportunities to improve HR processes through automation and better use of technology.
-Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to HR systems.
-Basic understanding of payroll processes, terms, and timelines.
-Liaise effectively with payroll teams to support queries or process improvements.
-Ensure accuracy and consistency of HR/payroll-related data where applicable.
Key Requirements:
-Proven experience in a data or systems-focused administrative or HR support role.
-Strong analytical and reporting skills; confident working with large datasets.
-High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SharePoint and Microsoft 365 tools.
-Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
-Strong organisational and communication skills.
-Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
-Experience with HR systems and digital process tools.
Desirable:
-Experience working with payroll teams or supporting payroll functions.
-Familiarity with HRIS platforms or workforce management systems.
