Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Temporary Psychologist (Staff Grade) to join our outpatient community mental health team. The successful candidate will provide psychological assessments, interventions, and support to individuals experiencing a range of mental health issues. This role requires strong clinical skills and a commitment to enhancing the well-being of our community members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychoeducation, and other relevant modalities.- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including psychiatrists, social workers, and nurses, to ensure integrated care.- Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments as needed.- Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records in compliance with organizational and legal standards.- Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and continuing professional development activities.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited institution.- Relevant professional registration/licensure.- Experience working in a community mental health setting preferred.- Demonstrated skills in psychological assessment and evidence-based intervention.- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
