TTM Healthcare Solutions (TTM) have partnered with a leading organisation to hire a Senior Speech and Language Therapist in Tallaght, Dublin.

Job Title:
Temporary Senior Speech and Language Therapist
Location: Children's Disability Network, Tallaght
Shift pattern: Day shift 
Work pattern: Monday - Friday 
Hours: 35 hours per week 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Speech and Language Therapist to join our Children's Disability Network in Tallaght on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality speech and language therapy services to children with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for children with a range of speech, language, and communication needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
  • Provide training and support to parents, caregivers, and educational staff to facilitate effective communication strategies.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each child's care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to service development initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent qualification recognized by the relevant professional body.
  • Registration with CORU
  • Proven experience in pediatric speech and language therapy, particularly within a disability context.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong assessment and intervention planning abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in using alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) methods.
  • Familiarity with developmental disorders such as autism, cerebral palsy, and Down syndrome.
  • Skills in delivering parent and staff training workshops.
  • Must be a resident in Ireland and hold one of the following: EU passport or GNIB card with Stamp 1G, Stamp 2, Stamp 4, Stamp 4D, Stamp 5, or 4 EUFam.
  • Willing to undergo Garda Vetting. 
  • International Police Clearance required (if lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 months after the age of 16).
