Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Temporary Medical Scientist with expertise in Microbiology to join our laboratory team. The successful candidate will support various microbiological testing, analysis, and research activities to ensure accurate and timely results for clinical and research purposes.

Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine and specialized microbiological tests on clinical and environmental samples.- Analyze and interpret data to provide accurate and reliable test results.- Ensure compliance with laboratory protocols, quality control procedures, and safety standards.- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and instruments.- Document and report findings clearly and accurately.- Collaborate with medical and laboratory staff to discuss test results and implications.- Assist in the development and validation of new microbiological assays.- Stay updated with advancements in microbiology and laboratory techniques.

Qualifications:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Microbiology, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related field.- Proven experience in a clinical or research laboratory setting, specializing in microbiology.- Strong knowledge of microbiological techniques, including culture, isolation, and identification of microorganisms.- Familiarity with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) is an advantage.- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment..
