Temporary Clerical Officer Grade III to join their fast-paced team in
Meath. Job Type: Part-time 20 hours per week Location: NavanContract: Temporary 3 month initial contract
Pay scale is
€17.04- €26.52 depending on previous relative public sector experience.
Key Responsibilities:
The Clerical Officer will be responsible for the day-to-day administrative functions of the department under the direction of the assigned manager. This role is ideal for someone with strong technology skills and an aptitude for working with numbers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and run the flexi clock/timekeeping system, ensuring accurate recording and reporting of employee hours.
- Support or take responsibility for the payroll system, including data input, validation, and preparation of payroll runs.
- Assist in resolving discrepancies in time entries and payroll-related queries.
- Maintain confidentiality of all employee and payroll information.
- Liaise with HR and Finance departments to ensure seamless data flow and compliance with company policies.
- Assist with general administrative tasks related to payroll and timekeeping as required.
Essential Skills:
- Proven experience with technology systems, ideally including timekeeping or payroll software.
- High level of accuracy and strong numerical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
- Strong communication skills and a professional, discreet approach to handling sensitive information.
- Prior experience in a payroll or finance-related role is an advantage.
