Clontarf Hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Speech and Language Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advanced speech and language therapy services to patients, ensuring high-quality care and positive patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in patients.- Develop individualized treatment plans and set achievable goals for patient rehabilitation.- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide integrated care.- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.- Provide guidance and support to junior SLT staff and participate in peer reviews.- Engage in continuous professional development to stay abreast of the latest SLT practices.- Conduct patient and family education sessions to facilitate effective communication strategies.

Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech and Language Therapy .- Registration with CORU- Proven experience as a Senior SLT in a healthcare setting.- Expertise in assessment and therapeutic techniques for a diverse range of communication disorders.- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.- Excellent organizational and time management skills.- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
