Position Type: Temporary (3-6 months +)

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our Children's Disability Network Team (CDNT) in Barrow on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will focus on assessing and providing therapeutic interventions to children with disabilities, promoting their independence and participation in daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's physical, cognitive, and developmental needs.- Develop individualized treatment plans aimed at enhancing functional abilities and independence.- Implement therapeutic interventions and monitor progress.- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including families, educators, and healthcare professionals.- Provide guidance and support to parents and caregivers.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of treatments and progress.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.- Valid registration and licensure as an Occupational Therapist.- Experience working with children with disabilities is preferred.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
