Portlaoise Hospital is seeking a Temporary Medical Lab Aide to assist in the daily operations of their medical laboratory. The successful candidate will support laboratory technicians and scientists in conducting tests and procedures, maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in laboratory sciences preferred.
• Previous experience in a laboratory setting is advantageous.
• Resident in Ireland and hold one of the following: EU passport or GNIB card with Stamp 1G, Stamp 2, Stamp 4, Stamp 4D, Stamp 5, or 4 EUFam.
• Willing to undergo Garda Vetting. 
• International Police Clearance (if lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 moths after the age of 16).
