Role: Senior Occupational Therapist

Location: Salthill, Galway

Job type: Full Time Permanent

Salary:  € 63,279 - € 74,509

TTM Healthcare Solutions are recruiting for an Senior Occupational Therapist for a permanent role for one of Ireland’s leading healthcare organisations based in Salthill, Galway.

This voluntary organization provides a wide range of community-based services for children and adults with an intellectual disability and autism throughout Galway City and County. 

Position Overview:

The purpose of the role is the provision of an Occupational Therapy service using service user centred principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions in line with the ethos, vision, policies and to interact as part of a Multi-Disciplinary Team. 

• Responsibility for planning, assessment, implementation and review of Occupational Therapy programmes for individual service users according to service standards.
• To collaborate with individual service users, family, carers and other staff in Occupational Therapy planning and in the provision of support and advice.
• Clinical Supervision responsibility for a Basic Grade Occupational Therapist.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• CORU registration
• 3 years experience
• Experience working with children and adults with intellectual disabilities
• experience of Sensory Integration
• Full license and use of a car
