Job Description
We are seeking a Temporary Grade III Clerical Officers in the Galway area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative tasks with a strong emphasis on data entry and typing. This role requires excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Job Type: Temporary 2month initial contract
Full time - 9-5 Monday to Friday (1 hr lunch)
Payrate: €16.87 - €26.25 per hour depending on previous relative public sector
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain records in an organized manner.
- Handle general administrative duties, including filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
- Assist in preparing and distributing reports and correspondence.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, both physical and electronic.
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Provide support to other staff members as required.
- Support the team with any additional administrative tasks as required.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection regulations.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in data entry and typing with a high level of accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous clerical or administrative experience is essential.
