Key Responsibilities:
Efficient booking and admission of patients for appointments and procedures
Handling queries and phone calls with courtesy and professionalism
Liaising with the multidisciplinary team and external agencies
Ensuring accurate data entry into PAS and related systems
Supporting development and improvement of departmental procedures and reporting
Providing cover and support across all areas of the Patient Services Department as needed
Promoting and upholding hospital standards of confidentiality, data protection, and patient safety
Essential Qualifications / Experience:
Previous experience in administration (or similar healthcare environment)
Excellent interpersonal, customer care, and communication skills
Proficient in ICT; strong working knowledge of the Patient Administration System (PAS) essential
Strong organisational and team-working abilities
Adaptable and flexible, with the ability to work independently and use initiative
Proven ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality
Courteous, honest, reliable, and punctual
Strong initiative and responsibility in work practices
Flexible and adaptable approach to varied duties
Excellent communication, typing, and keyboard skills
