TTM Healthcare are proud to partner with our client in the Public Sector to recruit a Grade IV Clerical officer to job their fast paced team.
Based in Cavan Town
Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm - 35hour working week.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee and update waiting lists for assessments.
- Ensure accuracy and timely recording of referrals and appointments.
- Provide day-to-day administrative assistance to senior clinicians, including diary management, document preparation, and correspondence handling.
- Assist in scheduling appointments and managing confidential patient records.
- Maintain and update databases, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Generate and analyse reports using Microsoft Excel, identifying trends and streamlining administrative processes.
- Work collaboratively with clinicians to reduce the administrative workload, by implementing effective procedures and systems.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend changes that enhance efficiency.
- Leverage advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, charts) to support data analysis and reporting needs.
- Troubleshoot basic IT issues and liaise with IT support when necessary
Skills and Qualifications:- 2 years previous experience in an administrative role in a healthcare setting.
- Demonstrable proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data management tools.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Comfortable learning and utilising new software as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and highly organised in managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to identify inefficiencies in current processes and suggest practical solutions to streamline administrative duties.
