We are seeking a temporary Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team at the Primary Care Center in Cavan. The successful candidate will provide psychological assessments, interventions, and consultations to paediatric patients.

This role involves working closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.

Job Title: Temporary Psychologist
Location: Primary Care Center in Cavan or Monaghan
Caseload: Child Psychology

• Conduct psychological assessments and diagnoses.
• Provide evidence-based psychological interventions.
• Collaborate with medical staff to create comprehensive treatment plans.
• Offer individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Provide crisis intervention as needed.
• Engage in continuous professional development.

• Have a university degree or diploma (QQ1 level 8 equivalent)
• Obtained with 1st or 2nd class honours in which Psychology was taken as a major subject Honours obtained in that subject
• Must Have an Irish post-graduate professional psychology qualification accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland in Clinical, Counselling or Educational Psychology
