Job Title: Radiology Services Manager 1 (RSM1)

Job Type: Permanent

Hours: 35 hours per week (Full-Time) & 17.5 hours per week (Part-Time)

Location: South Dublin

This facility will provide comprehensive services ranging from expert consultations and diagnostics to specialised treatments — all under one roof.

Their Radiology Department offers a welcoming, modern working environment and provides a wide range of diagnostic services using state-of-the-art equipment. They are a dynamic and supportive team of professionals who strive for excellence in patient care and clinical standards and are currently recruiting for a Radiology Service Manager to come and lead from the front.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • in Radiography
  • in Ultrasound or 7+ years’ experience as a Sonographer
  • CORU registration

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate, and support team members to ensure clinical excellence and compassionate care.
  • Manage administrative and operational tasks to ensure smooth departmental functioning.
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures as required.
  • Develop and maintain operational protocols in conjunction with the Clinical Specialist Radiographer.
  • Manage attendance and maintain departmental rosters, including approval of annual leave.
  • Conduct and lead clinical audits to support continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate on new initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of high standards in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Act as departmental lead in the absence of the Radiology Service Manager.
  • Stay informed on developments in radiology and share knowledge within the team.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with patients and colleagues.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all hospital policies, including health & safety, HR, and infection control guidelines.
