Role: Sonographer – Ultrasound 

Location: Sligo

Salary: Competitive Salary 

Job Type: Part Time Permanent - 25 hours (+1 day optional)

TTM Healthcare is recruiting a Sonographer for a role in Sligo. 

Days: Tues, Wed & Fridays. Estimated 25 hour contract. Optional 1-day in Roscommon. 

Responsibilities:

• To perform all the basic exams eg abdomen /pelvis /renal /neck /testes /soft tissue. 
• Responsible for the independent operation of ultrasound equipment and performing diagnostic examinations using ultrasound
• Daily operations of the ultrasound list, patient schedule, and quality assessment (QA).
• Performs clinical assessment and diagnostic ultrasound examinations.
• Use independent judgment during the sonographic exam to accurately differentiate between normal and pathological findings.
• Analyse ultrasound images, correlate sonographic information and medical history and communicate finding to reporting radiologists via RIS using sonographers’ findings forms.

Requirements:

• BSc in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent
• CORU registration.
• 2+ year post-graduate experience in ultrasound.
• MSc in Diagnostic Ultrasound is desirable but not essential.
• Experience in an Irish setting is essential 
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.
