Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of diagnostic tests in Hematology and Biochemistry.
• Analyze and interpret laboratory results accurately.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment.
• Ensure quality control and compliance with laboratory standards.
• Collaborate with medical staff to provide comprehensive patient care.
•  Document and report findings in a clear and concise manner.
• Assist in the training and supervision of junior laboratory staff.
• Participate in laboratory audits and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Science or a related field.
• CORU registration
• Proven experience in Hematology and Biochemistry laboratory techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Full driving license and access to own car is desirable.
• Resident in Ireland and legal right to work in Ireland without restriction.
• All candidates will be required to undergo Garda Vetting. 
• International Police Clearance (if lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 moths after the age of 16).
